Craniosacral Therapy Babies and Children

Craniosacral therapy aims to free restrictions in the natural movement of the cerebrospinal fluid, the clear liquid that cushions the brain and the spine. The birth process can be a very challenging experience for the newborn. Even a normal delivery can create stress patterns that cause discomfort and restriction which may, if untreated lead to issues in childhood and later in life. Babies can be treated soon after birth.

  • Reflux/digestive issues

How is Craniosacral Therapy preformed?

A light touch, similar to the weight of a small coin, to evaluate and treat imbalance and restrictions. Precise and subtle palpation is used on the patient who remains fully clothed. The areas treat depend on where these core restrictions lie in the body and are now confined to the head.
